Former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station

Mango and Cobie waiting for the (non-existent) train

We made a visit to the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station before its closure last year thanks to @codytheshetland‘s mama’s arrangement. She arranged aΒ visit the Railway Station in November with the Singapore Land Authority for a private visit for the group of us to snap photos! We had quite a fun time (though the weather was really humid).

The Railway Station has since been officially closed from 26th December 2016. Previously, it was opened to the public on public holidays for people to visit. It was always crowded though. And more than a little difficult to take photos (especially with dogs). The last public affair was a Christmas Day celebration (see here for photos of the event by the Singapore Land Authority). It’s now closed for construction works of the new MRT station partially beneath it.

Hello pretty girl

We had approximately 2 hours there and we definitely made full use of it. Read on to see more pictures (many many pictures and a video) of our romp!

Christmas on a Great Street 2014

Mango, Echo, Nugget. Fit for a Christmas postcard ❀

Less than 5 weeksΒ till Christmas!! It’s my favourite “season” of the year! Everyone’s so cheery and everything’s so Christmas-sy. In Singapore, Christmas decorations along Orchard Road are spectacular. And they go up around the start of November, all the way till mid-January usually. 2 years ago in 2013, it was our first Christmas together. I wanted to bring Mango to snap some photos with the display but it was not logistically possible. Fast forward to 2014, I had a plan! And so… I grabbed my best friend who was game enough to come along with her 2 shelties (Echo and Nugget) too!

Rolling Hills and Racing Hearts

Together with Sis, we went on a little exploratory trip! Canterbury Road, Alexandra Arch, Forest Walk, Hort Park, Ah B Cafe in a day!

Saw a picture that stuck with me for awhile here. Mentioned this to @lifewithlycanlexie’s mama and here’s their take on it. I’ve been procrastinating the trip there because of various reasons, but one day, Sis was like “let’s go somewhere!”. And thus we went to explore!

Rolling hills

Really love this scene! Something we don’t get to see much of in land-scarce Singapore. If only we have more of such large expanse of greenery.

Read on for more! *Warning: Picture heavy post!*

Dressing the dogs

Cobie the pretty girl.

Sometimes I kind of wished I had a smaller dog. It’s so much easier to get clothes for dogs in smaller sizes. But I wouldn’t trade Mango for anything. Still, I could try to get some clothes in Mango-size somehow! Or dress my friends’ dogs. HAHA!

“Erm help please? I’m getting eaten”

Found a lion outfit that could fit Mango at Paw Pet-radise Cafe! They’re carrying some of the outfits by Β Dressapets, a local dog clothing store. Currently, Paw Pet carries some sizing for larger dogs! Didn’t see any when I searched Dressapets’ online store though.

More photos after the jump! Continue reading

Merry Christmas!
